The Violin, Viola and Piano Recital

Well, time passes and before I realised it, the concert was over. I would just like to
thank God for His Blessing upon this recital.
We prayed that the ticket sales would be good and God did a Miracle as the tickets
were all sold out. Quite a few people had to be turned away, sorry about that.
The aims of this recital was:

(1) To let the public hear and experience the sound of the prestigious violins and
know the difference between the violin and viola.
(2) To introduce the public to the Wilhelm Tell Grand Piano and its other two models.

(3) To let the contemporary compositions reach out to the people.

(4) To cultivate the musical interests of the young people.

(5) To improve ourselves as musicians. I believe that the more we perform, the more
we will improve.

Our sincere thanks to Mr. and Mrs Tay of Arcostringsmusic for their support in terms of
sponsoring the three prestigious German hand made violins and the Wilhelm Tell Grand Piano. Many thanks to Mr. Tay for helping to design the concert poster, concert programme
and the LCD presentation during the concert. They are our good friends indeed.
Many Thanks to my piano accompanist, Karen Wong, who did an excellent job on the night.
Thanks to our friends, colleagues, parents and students for purchasing the tickets.
Thanks to Puan Norlinda of Sarawak Tourism Board who helped us in making the necessary arrangements and also Mr. Weldon who did an excellent job in the control room and making
necessary adjustments to the lightings. You have been very helpful.

May God Bless You All.
